XE Token

The Currency of the Machine Economy

XE is the native token that powers every transaction and lease on the network. A dual-asset system – XE for emission rewards, XUSD for lease payments and governance – built for machine-speed settlement and autonomous resource acquisition.

Instant Finality

XE transactions settle instantly – deterministic, not probabilistic. Fast enough for real-time resource acquisition, machine-to-machine micropayments, and autonomous agent commerce. No waiting for block confirmations. No transaction fees – anti-spam is handled by lightweight proof-of-work.

  • Deterministic settlement – a confirmed transaction is final.
  • Zero transaction fees – anti-spam via blake2b PoW.
  • Dual-asset model – XUSD for payments, XE for rewards.
  • Escrow-based leasing for trustless resource acquisition.

What XE Powers

XE is not a speculative asset – it's the functional fuel of the network. Two native assets serve complementary roles: XUSD drives the demand side, XE drives the supply side.

  • Resource Leasing

Agents escrow XUSD to lease compute, storage, and bandwidth from providers. XUSD is burned on acceptance – making it deflationary as the network grows.

  • Emission Rewards

Providers earn XE when leases settle. XE is minted as emission rewards – the incentive for contributing compute resources to the network.

  • Consensus Weight

XUSD balance determines voting weight for conflict resolution. Delegated XUSD drives the 67% quorum needed to resolve equivocation.

  • Governance

The DAO state chain governs protocol evolution via multisig-signed operations. Parameter changes deployed without hard forks.

  • Identity & Provenance

Ed25519 key pairs anchor cryptographic identity to the block lattice. Every block is signed, building verifiable on-chain history for each account.

  • Provider Collateral

Providers stake XUSD collateral when accepting leases (cost / 5, minimum 1). Recovered on settlement alongside XE emission rewards.

Distribution

The XE token supply is designed for long-term sustainability, with the majority allocated to network rewards, ecosystem development, and community participation.

  • Genesis Participants — 35%

Allocated to initial token genesis participants.

  • Ecosystem Development — 30%

Reserved for ecosystem development and grants.

  • Network Rewards — 10%

    Provider emission rewards over time.

  • Machina Community — 10%

    Community contributions and governance participation.

  • Team & Advisors — 10%

    Long-term aligned team and advisors.

  • Treasury Reserve — 5%

    Reserve fund for protocol contingencies.

Path to Mainnet

The XE token launches through a structured sequence – from genesis event through testnet to full mainnet deployment.

  • Phase 1: Testnet Launch (Active)

Public testnet with XUSD faucet for development and testing. Wallet operations, compute leasing, and transaction validation.

  • Phase 2: Genesis Event (TBC)

Initial token generation and distribution to early participants. Genesis allocation for community members, partners, and early supporters.

  • Phase 3: Mainnet Launch (TBC)

Full mainnet deployment with live dual-asset economics, compute leasing, governance, and proof of uptime verification.

  • Phase 4: Exchange Listings (TBC)

XE token available on decentralised and centralised exchanges. Liquidity pairs, market making, and trading infrastructure.

Genesis Edition → Guaranteed Genesis Access

The most direct path to the genesis event is through an XE device. Batch 1 is the Genesis Edition – a limited, numbered run with "Genesis" etched into the aluminium unibody and signed by the founders. Every Genesis Edition device ships with a pre-loaded XE stake and a guaranteed whitelist spot at the genesis event.
